| This was an ok episode. This episode featured the first date between Giles and Jenny Calendar. But the main focus of the episode was Codelia. Daryl Epps was the high school football star until his death. But Daryl's brother, Chris and his friend, Eric bring his brother back. But Daryl is disfigured and won't let anyone see him like this. To keep him from being lonely, Eric and Chris decide to make a bride for Daryl who chooses Cordelia. |
| Cordelia, once again won't let danger get in her way even if it means being killed. Being the most popular cheerleader, she won't miss the big game, even though she was nearly kidnapped just minutes before if Buffy hadn't come to her rescue. But, after she is kidnapped and naearly made to be Daryl's bride forever, she is saved by the gang, mainly Xander who is clueless when Cordelia thanks him that maybe there is something between them. |
| All the character's relationships seemed to move forward in this episode; Buffy and Angel grow closer, Giles and Jenny go on their first date and agree to a second date, Willow and Xander complain that they always end up alone, and the first time Cordelia showsa slight interest in Xander, foreshadowing their later relationship. |
