| All Buffy wants to do is go on a date with Owen, a nice guy from school, but on the same night of an apocalypse stirs things up when Owen follows Buffy and the gang to the crypt where they have to lie about what they are doing and nearly get Owen killed. |
| This is the first episode where the Anointed One apperars, Buffy and the gang believe they have stopped him, believing he is the vampire they killed, but the Anointed One is not a vampire, but a young boy. |
| Character Study: Buffy Buffy tries to go on a date and at the same time be able to save the world, but soon realizes that being a slayer means she doesn't get a night off and realizes she will never have a normal dating life. |
| Episode Highlight: When Angel comes to The Bronze, only to realize that Buffy is on a date and Cordelia comes in to dance with Owen, but realizes he only has eyes for Buffy so she turns her sights to Angel, only to discover that he can't stay away from Buffy either. |
