| Character Study: Buffy Dr. Gregory seems to be the only techer at Sunnydale High that believes that Buffy can succeed. When he is killed, we see Buffy feels alone feeling that the one person ouside her group of friends actually believed in her. |
| At the beginning of the episode, Xander has a dream as he wishes things would be: he saves Buffy from a vampire that she can't fight, she seems to idolize him as he returns to the stage as the lead guarist in his band at the Bronze. But in reality, we see Buffy is far from having romantic feelings for Xander, this is the first episode where we see that she starting to fall for Angel. |
