| Buffy stops the Master from rising with the help from her new friends. Buffy becomes one of the first slayers to have friends helping her fight evil. The Master however, still lives. |
| Xander's friend, Jesse is taken by the vampires and is turned into a vampire himself. Xander is the one who (unintentully) stakes him. |
| Character Study: Angel In the fist few episodes that Angel is in, he appears arrogent towards Buffy. But when he and Buffy are in the crypt, she asks if he even knows what it's like to have friends, and the look on his face almost makes you see past the arrogence and see that he is pained and alone. |
| Episode Highlight: When Willow gets back at Cordelia by tricking her into deleting her assignment on the computer. |
